George is forced to integrate zoology in lessons to appease Gerald. Even when his mother hires a teacher, Gerald is more concerned with creatures rather than studies. His had serious ideas about studying and this was a problem for Gerald because he didn’t like to study. One time a boy called Peter came from Oxford to teach him English. Gerald asked where he lives and Kosti answered that he lives at Vido. When he was in Greece he met a lot of people and was curious about their hobbies, but he was always very polite. In the beginning he doesn’t say very much but at the end he became very spontaneous. Of course he knows a lot about animals and insects. Now he has two magpies, one dog called Roger, Alecko a bird and lots of other animals and insects. Of course his family thinks this is a very bad idea. Everywhere he goes he brings the animals that he likes the most back to his home.
Gerald collects all sorts of animals : insects, fish, dogs, and snakes. Larry and Leslie are his two brothers and he has got one sister, Margo.
